New Principal Introduction

Dear Parents and Students,

I am honored to introduce myself as the incoming principal of St. Joseph Catholic Academy School. It is with great pleasure that I join our teachers in their dedication to nurturing and educating our students academically and spiritually.

As an alumna of Catholic schools and now a religious sister, I believe that Catholic school teachers have a profound calling in our society. Our purpose extends beyond academic learning; we strive to create a Christ-centered environment where students can grow into the individuals God intends them to be.

Originally from Flores Island, Indonesia, I have been living and working as a teacher in the US for the past 15 years. My ministry as an elementary teacher began at St. Elizabeth Montessori School in New Jersey, then at Saint Anthony Catholic School in San Antonio, Florida. For the past two years, I have been teaching at Immaculate Conception School in Springfield. I am also involved in helping with Confirmation preparation at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Nixa and adult RCIA classes at Holy Trinity Church here in Springfield.

As Saint Francis of Assisi once said, “If God can work through me, He can work through anyone.” I believe God has placed us at St. Joseph Catholic Academy for a reason. We are called to serve one another, building the church of Christ here on earth. As we embark on this new chapter, I ask for your cooperation, support, and prayers.

On behalf of the teachers, we are honored and grateful to be part of your child’s journey of faith and formation. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas to share.

Be assured that you and your family are in my prayers.
